I set up this organization's first fundraising program. I provided expertise in software selection, data migration, annual fund planning, digital campaigns, grant applications, major gifts, writing, and communication planning. I prepared requests of over $1 million in foundation grant applications.Family Ties of Westchester provides peer support, education, and advocacy services to families experiencing emotional or behavioral challenges. We connect families to essential community resources in order to achieve and sustain good health, emotional wellness and family stability. Our families face difficult challenges in areas like: Mental Health Treatment & Crisis Stabilization; Juvenile or Criminal Justice; Food or other Social Service Assistance; Immigration Questions; Substance Use Treatment; Domestic Violence; Housing. Our talented staff are peers and advocates. They use their lived experience and on-the-ground expertise to cut through red tape and connect families to local services and resources. They lend encouragement and instill confidence that families use to meet their own challenges.

The SETI Institute is a private, nonprofit organization dedicated to scientific research, education and public outreach. The Institute comprises three centers, the Center for SETI Research, the Carl Sagan Center for the Study of Life in the Universe and the Center for Education and Public Outreach. It's mission is to explore, understand, and explain the origin and nature of life in the universe, and to apply the knowledge gained to inspire and guide present and future generations. We have a passion for discovery, and for sharing knowledge as scientific ambassadors to the public, the press, and the government.

Raised approximately $3 million each year in annual support for Sempervirens Fund, the oldest land trust in California. Sempervirens Fund protects the Sequoia Semperviens, the giant Redwoods, in the Santa Cruz mountains adjacent to Silicon Valley. Also carried out $22 million Great Park Campaign.
