The same principles apply for those in transition (retirement, job loss, divorce, bereavement, relocation), defining what their next chapter in life will look like.

Soulmate Dance began as a personal blog, the story of a 50-something woman and a 50-something man meeting, falling in love, and deciding to Skip the Light Fandango together. Blending our stuff – lives, families, furniture, baggage. Bemused musings about being a bride and a grandma. Staying healthy and fit and encouraging the jiggly bits to behave. Figuring out how to make ends meet while caring for aging parents. Encore career? Side hustle? Being staggered by the beauty of our generation – folks who have lived and loved and laughed and cried, who have triumphed and suffered, who have soared and crashed and gotten up to live and love and laugh and cry some more. And love. It’s definitely about warts-and-all unconditional love - loving yourself, loving your beloveds, loving your beautiful lived-in body and face, loving your inquisitive mind, loving your life. The whole thing is definitely a dance, the soulmate dance we do with ourselves and each other. There’s no telling what you might find here – whatever is tickling my fancy on any given day which seems to be the same things a lot of baby boomers think about. Anything from cool stuff for the Grand-Doodles to love, travel, hobbies, aging parents, recipes, exercise, retirement, books I’m reading, and music. Our generation has the best playlist. It’s always an adventure and a surprise. I’m no guru or purist. Being an 80/20 kind of gal suits me just fine. That 20 percent fudge factor is there for two very important reasons: treating myself and forgiving myself.You're not too old and it's never too late!
