    Rally Austin, formerly AEDC, was organized as a local government corporation in 2020 for the purpose of aiding and acting on behalf of the City of Austin, Texas where public policy meets real estate development. AEDC is structured to manage a range of projects which include asset management, mixed-use affordable housing development, district master planning and facilitating public-private Partnerships, as well as other strategic projects/programs to secure transformative and equitable development for all Austinites. As CXO, Chief Transactions Officer, I am leading the implementation of initial projects while providing the technical expertise to assure execution and public benefit while collaborating on strategy with the organizational leadership, and the City of Austin. We are facilitating the $110 M transformative equitable development of a two acre urban infill parcels in the heart of the Black cultural district which will provide affordable housing, retail/commercial support to the district, as well as a cultural venue. We have initiated the Austin Cultural Trust to preserve the creative DNA of a rapidly changing city by investing up to 19.4M of City of Austin funds, leveraging private funding as well as providing economic benefit to the City. Finally we are developing the Equitable Development Strategy for highway improvement 'Cap and Stitch' project at the heart of our city which will increase our downtown by another 70 acres.
