Throughout my tenure at this nonprofit providing high-quality networking opportunities to young Jewish professionals in NYC, I wrote copy that grew membership: I drafted compelling promotional materials, including targeted email campaigns, personal outreach letters, and website content demonstrating the value of organization. I also developed best practices, guides, and templates for all external communications to build a cohesive, mission-focused brand.As a part of a 3-person event team, I played a critical role in planning and executing the 2017 Annual Gala for over 1K attendees in just 3.5 weeks. I also contributed to the event’s content by writing the emcee speech and promotional video content to be shown at the event. Additionally, I produced the 180-page Gala Journal and wrote all ad content generating $400K in revenue in less than one month.I also increased the amount of members attending the monthly industry networking conference. I achieved this by writing the copy used to recruit high-profile business leaders to speak (up to 116 per event), as well as delivering compelling email and web content to young professionals.

In this position, I matched lawyers to nonprofits in need of legal services in order to fulfill their missions of improving the quality of life in NYC neighborhoods.I accomplished this by designing, writing, and distributing a newsletter detailing the legal needs of nonprofit organizations to approximately 400 pro bono coordinators on a weekly basis. I also personally reached out to in-network lawyers for urgent or complex matters. During my tenure, I also researched potential strategic partnerships and grew the national network of lawyers, thus expanding the organization’s capacity to maximize a positive impact across NYC.

I was excited to contribute to this nonprofit dedicated to transforming the lives of children struggling with mental health and learning disorders. In this position, I helped design an online workshop providing support and resources to the parents of LD children. I conducted market research to assess the needs of the parents and identified potential collaborators to help us reach our goals. To determine the viability of the program, I developed a pro forma budget and conducted break-even analysis.

I was hired to revitalize the US program for for this organization bringing together entrepreneurs and innovators across the globe to share ideas during one week every year. I reported directly to the president and served as point of contact for all 1,300 US-based partners. I prioritized developing relationships with key stakeholders, increasing the total number of program partners by 15%. In addition to generating content for the GEW/USA blog, I also managed social media outlets including Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn, increasing followers by 21%, 27% and 15%, respectively. Through online and offline marketing efforts, I grew total participants by 42%, resulting in an increased number of event activities by 28%. Leading up to the US event, I coordinated with our 125 partners in planning all activities. I also managed Featured and Keynote Events, as well as competitions and panel discussions for up to 500 attendees.
