Markets Area IT development and Savings and Investments business development were first units in SEB Baltic development organization who merged IT and Business development into one functional unit in 2020.Today my role is to coach team and organization in Scrum adoption and take care of people well-being in team.

We were developing and implementing Baltic common solutions in SEB Lithuania and started to build common Baltic IT development organization and teams to provide common solutions for SEB Baltic customers for saving & investing, FX and financial risk management.

We were developing and implementing Baltic common solutions in SEB Estonia and SEB Latvia and my team role was to develop and implement Baltic common development, testing and release management processes.

The goal was to build one UI for SEB Estonian and SEB Lithuanian internet bank and harmonize 2 countries internet bank functionality for customers. Eventually it ended up developing UIs separately in responsive design for customers to be able to use same internet bank functionality in different devices.

This was the first biggest (by number of users) in-house built Java application in SEB Estonia to have nice and modern user interface as front for different applications. We used SCRUM way of working and branch tellers-advisors as reference group and testers.

Sweden

The bank had a dream to have same main information systems to all Baltic countries and Sweden. In this project I was representing Baltic CRM and analysed analytical CRM solutions in 5 countries (Baltic countries, Sweden, Germany).

Developing contact centre functionality, private and corporate customers loan approval and advisory process. It was exiting journey to make bank employees work more efficient regarding complicated loan processes and provide possibility to get relevant information from and to customers through self-service channels.

We started to develop operational CRM in bank. First functionality was online offering to customers: showing offers and letters to customers in internet bank and tellers in branch, sending emails and showing personalized pictures in ATMs to customers.

As we had by that time a lot of good bank products and processes, we had a need to find customers to whom to offer them. This was the beginning of direct marketing in bank over post and providing sales goals for all banks branches.
