About Ann Holliday

I'm at my best when I'm part of a team that's engaging people to think and act on issues important to the future of Downtown, such as the arts, housing, improving the urban environment, supporting new businesses, and recruiting talented young people to Kansas City.I also helped manage our Imagine Downtown KC 2030 Strategic Plan process in 2020-21. It was very rewarding to get to know new people interested in the future of Downtown and build new relationships and partnerships with neighborhood, civic, government, and business entities.Staffing the Art in the Loop Foundation has provided me with a refreshing opportunity to work with artists, community members, businesses, and property owners to activate, beautify and improve Downtown public spaces. I enjoy this opportunity to connect with my art history background. What do I love about Downtown Kansas City? I love its variety, diversity, art, architecture, history, character, culture, people and food!!Specialties: Community engagement, urban planning, data management and analysis, event planning, volunteer management, communications, and organization.
