Current Automation Cape Town began operations in 1994 and has accumulated a lot of knowledge insupplying battery, power supply and solar solutions to the southern African market. Wedecided to expand into all Power Related product lines and are continuously expandinginto all power and alternative power energy products to obtain and sustain a dominatingpart of the power market demand, by supplying quality as well as cost effective solutions.I started working here in an administrative position and moved to sales six months later,where I am currently a internal sales member . Duties and responsibilities include :• High energy effective sales approach• Close and grow sales through professional communication with existing andpotential clients• Coordinate company staff to provide exemplary service to customers• Work with the engineering team to ensure customer project requirements are met• Maintaining records of customer communications and contact information asrequired• Submit a variety of sales status reports as required, including activity, closings,follow-up, and adherence to goals• Promote/sell/secure orders from existing and prospective customers througha relationship-based approach.• Demonstrate products and services to existing/potential customers and assiststhem in selecting those best suited to their needs• Expedites the resolution of customer problems and complaints

After being employed as a sales assistant at the Vetshop in March 2011, I took fullresponsibility for the daily accounting function of the entity whilst enforcing and adhering todeadlines and protocols. I reported directly to the financial manager and have a passionfor accounting. My responsibilities included:• Manage processing and bookkeeping for the entity to Trial Balance level• Processing and allocation of petty cash transactions and performing the monthlyreconciliation of petty cash• Assist Auditors with annual audit• Full management of the shop on a daily basis• Managing of all orders placed, goods received and processing of supplierinvoices and reconciliation of all variances found.• Monthly supplier reconciliations between the supplier statement and supplierdetailed ledger and processing of necessary journal adjustments, includinginterest paid and discounts or rebates received.• Research regarding better / new suppliers to be used.
