I'm Anne, an editorial director & design leader who brings creative campaigns to life. I specialize in publications, brand storytelling, and content design. I build & mentor teams of superstar creatives, and I support risk-taking & innovation – by optimizing content operations, organizing editorial calendars, and harnessing AI and automation tech for repurposing & syndication.I have 20 years of experience driving the vision, ideation, and execution of mission-critical content initiatives. A senior leader of cross-functional teams & matrix projects, I have in-house creative management experience with organizations across tech, museums, nonprofits, and higher ed. I thrive in interdisciplinary settings where I can work my particular magic, which merges analytical rigor with artistic sensibility. I live for that extra spark of meaning made when word & image combine and create something new for the user. Originally trained as a scholar & a poet, I have a deep background in the study of language, literature, & visual culture. As an academic, I taught writing & publishing across the arts, humanities, and social sciences at the undergraduate and MA/PhD-levels. As an editor & creative lead, I managed high-profile print publications for global art exhibitions in collaboration with some of the world's most prestigious museums (Prado, Frick, National Gallery, Dalí Foundation, and more). In my current role at Authorify, I help entrepreneurs position themselves as experts in their field through niche book publication and content marketing. In all of these different iterations of my work, I return again and again to word & image – to the transformative creative potential of verbal-visual synergy in story & design – for me, that's where the magic happens!
