Started my journey 35 years ago in the fossile fuel-based industry. We were pioneers and one of the first companies in Sweden that was certified for ISO 9001 and 14001. After 15 years of learning the plastic industry inside out, I changed direction and began to study. I was pioneering again and went into the academic field of environmental science, technology/engineering, quality management spiced up with pedagogy and didactics.I have always combined studies with work because I am a practioner, and some of the work I have done is:- Research, evaluation and seamless inplementation of quality, environmental and work health safety systems for public and private sector.- Sustainable development of rural and urban planning in Europe. - Evaluation and fine tuning of sustainable procurement for the public sector.- Energy effiency projects for vehicles together with Swedish universities and high schools.- Teaching mathematics, technology, biology, physics, environmental science and chemistry.- Industrial water management.I have always enjoyed to travel and being a sustainable travel practioner, I found the need to put my experiences into sustainable and responsible tourism. During 6 years I have done my research about the tourism industry through many and different adventures in Pakistan, crossing Europe by train, hiking in Romania.During Covid-19, I decided to continue in the tourism industry as it affected the livelihood for many. My mission has been to build back better combining sustainability with tourism on all levels. Gaining experiences from different industries has taught me to not cut corners. Values are important and it is time to put quality, not quantity in the front. Let’s chat!
