Anneli is one of Norways few professional tap dancers and she is a front figure within the Norwegian tap dance scene. She has her education from Bårdar Akademiet, now Fagskolen Kristiania and she also has a bachelor’s degree in Creative Industries Management from BI Norwegian Business School / Handelshøyskolen BI.Anneli has contributed in tv- and theater productions such as Peer Gynt, Chat Noir- revyen, Showboat og Melodi Grand Prix and she has done choreography for tv-productions such as It´s Showtime, Drømmerollen, Showbiz, Kjempesjansen, Den Store Klassefesten, m.m.For several years she worked with an artist and tap dance duo called Jenter med Jern and was the sole event producer for the International Tap Dance Day in Oslo in 2008- 09 and -10.A two-part event that covered both amateurs and professionals.In 2010 she started up Oslo Steppdans Kompani, the first professional tap dance company in Norway. They produced several all-evening productions and did many events before they got separated in 2015.Anneli also works as a solo artist in addition to doing projects and partnerships with different musicians and she has a large number of concerts and events behind her.She also works across the borders of Norway forming professional partnerships with tap dancers from other countries and she can count many of the best tap dancers in the world today as her mentors. She also was part of the startup of the international tap dance company Sebastian Weber Dance Company in Leipzig, Germany, participating in some of his earliest work in 2017. She has also performed at several international festivals around Europe.For several years now Anneli has created tap dance choreography for many of the Norwegian theaters. Among others are Billy Elliot and Mary Poppins for Folketatret, Jungelboka at Chateu Neuf, Billy Elliot again in Sandnes and Book of Mormons at Det Norske Teatret. She is also dedicated to further developing young talents into her own company Oslo Tap Crew. On a daily basis you will find Anneli at Fagskolen Kristiania avd. Bårdar and at Bårdar Danseinstitutt teaching tap dance.
