Contemporary realist painter exploring mystical themes. My work has been described as realism with a touch of mystery. I spent ten years studying many different forms of art before settling on oil painting. I’ve attended Renaissance art workshops with various modern masters, learning the art of light and shadow.The theme for Celebrating The Pacific Northwest was to explore the natural world and capture the sacred quality of nature. All paintings except the largest and the smallest have sold.To my knowledge, my exhibition was the only sell-out show the Sammamish Commons Gallery has ever had.

Having an artistic background makes me a natural for helping people with the interior and exterior colors of their homes. I’ve guided my clients through many aspects of planning their home decor; from advice with kitchen and bath countertop colors to recommendations for wall art and cabinet fixtures.I love bringing beauty into people’s lives. Seeing the before and after pictures of a home painted with Benjamin Moore products never gets old. Working in paint gives me an opportunity to explore aspects of color beyond what I know as an artist. Paint color is high end acrylic which is achieved through custom hand tinting. It’s different than digital color.The sales at Sammamish Mallory Paint have increased with each year I’ve worked there. I’ve attracted many homeowners with my custom in-store color consults.Working just two days a week gives me the perfect work life balance. I get my social needs met and stay current with home decor trends. I’ve also learned what to do and what not to do regarding product choices for my own home.
