Currently I am responsible for delivering and maintaining SAP Core Banking features and products on an omni channel architecture which include account origination and account maintenance features driving an improved customer experience. The team set up consists of 3 release trains and 8 feature teams and execution is driven by following agile principles and SAFe framework guide lines. The size of the team equates to 180 people, inclusive of business, and budget linked thereto. In preparation to execute on the new operating model teams are exposed to SBG Web, Sales Force, Backbase, TRBK and S4Hana by understanding the intricacies in moving to a Platform as a Service organisation.Release Manager - Standard Bank (2017 to Oct 2018) Leading the team to create manufacturing products and migrate legacy products onto SAP(Personal and Business (Transactional, Savings and Investment)). The delivery also included the moving to a Business As Usual construct, which includes: production support, SAFe construct(PI sessions, devops, etc.) and applying devops principles.Release Manager Standard Bank (2016 – 2017) The Delivery of AML solution across PBB. This included 26 partner systems, third parties and introduction of a new system to enable customer risk assessments. Programme Manager Standard Bank (2008 - 2015) I was initially appointed as a programme manager in Credit to enable the delivery of new scoring engines for Personal and Business across Account Origination, Account Maintenance and Collections. Book of work expanded to enable Credit as part of the Core Banking journey, I was also responsible for the establishment of system integration for a new lending product which entailed Credit Account Origination, Account Maintenance and Collections. Additional migration effort was required for Credit products to form part of the ‘Minimum to Migrate Systems” program, i.e. systems across the organization to integrate at account level to SAP. Over the 8 year period I was responsible for implementations in the Absa Contact Centre, Retail Operations and Home Loans areas. Deployments included move to the ABSA CC, campaigns, projects and running of the overall Home Loans Program.
