Annelize Erasmus is a University of the Free State Drama and Theatre Arts graduate. She is currently busy with her Honours degree in Live Performance at AFDA Johannesburg. She has been involved in professional theatre productions, such as: Don Juan onder die Boere and Curl up & dye.This up and coming actress was part of productions in other Festivals including: Grahamstown National Arts Festival, Vrystaat Kunstefees and Macufe Festival for Curl up and dye (2015), A Tiny Hum: Humanity(2016) and Don Juan onder die Boere(2013/2014) at the Vrystaat Kunstefees. She also performed in student productions, namely: 'n Midsomersnagdroom, Ons Dorp, Two into one and Censored (which she co -wrote and co -directed). Her technical work includes; Stage managing for the production Kastreer, Lighting Technician for Moordenaar, Stage Hand/ASM for Don Juan onder die Boere, Stage Hand for Die Towenaar van Oz and Roadtrip, and Ushering at the Vryfees festival (2013) and at the Wynand Moutoun Theatre for various shows throughout her studies. In 2016 Her first breakthrough as a writer came when her theatre script '' Come back Tomorrow, Kom More Terug'' debuted at the Free Sate Arts Festival. She was also part of a student short film, ''I Do'', ''Incurable'' and professional short film ''Starry Night''.Annelize is a young ambitious artist with an inner drive that is hard to miss. She is an energy to be reckoned with. She believes in being a multi- experienced artist, meaning she wants to aspire in both screen -and stage -acting. She is willing to work extremely hard to achieve her goals and is determined to make her mark in the industry.
