Cardboard overtime has always been developed as a packaging material, mainly suited for industrial purposes, with a strong focus on practicality and pricing mindset.Unfortunately in the past, the sustainable aspect and creative versatility of this material has never been its main asset ... until now, until the present state of our planet needs some TLC … Cardboard is one of the few materials that can be recycled over and over again without loads of money and energy spent and without its appearance changing dramatically.Soooo …> sustainable> creatively super versatile > recyclable in its identical twin over and over… honeycomb rigid cardboard panels are without a doubt one of the most wonderful conversions of nature of all time. Being a bit of a creative soul myself – I wouldn’t call myself an artist but rather an artistic hobbyist - my home is filled with numerous wall pieces (read : artwork made of paper) and cardboard furniture designed over the years. I keep being mesmerized by the endless possibilities (honeycomb) cardboard is offering us. It all started out small with some ‘what if’s’ and ‘imagine that’ but meanwhile Europe’s convinced that rigid panels with an easy-to-re-re-re-recycle future are the way to go. So if you could just imagine the silliest or most insane application for honeycomb cardboard, why not give me a holler and create cardboard magic together ?!
