Coaching Responsibilities;- Engaging in year-long one-on-one coaching cycles with pre-service, induction and experienced teachers. - Assisting in teacher goal-setting, identity inquiry, lesson planning and the shaping of overall classroom culture. - Collecting low-inference data through in-person and video-recorded observations conducted on an ongoing basis.- Providing written and in-person feedback on comprehensive lesson planning.- Conducting initial placement meetings with the candidate, attending college supervisor meetings, serving as a liaison between various departments internally and assisting in the on going training of teachers.Math Teaching Lead Responsibilities;- Assessing and responding to teacher needs and desires for on-going professional education curriculum.- Planning and facilitating all-staff and grade-level professional development for groups of 4 - 30. - Providing follow-up support and supplementary PD after District training programs are completed. - Conducting post-training assessment to determine the overall effectiveness of PD and what the next steps are. - Promoting, leading and assessing the school’s first-ever math lesson study cycle.Classroom Teaching Responsibilities;- Responsible for supporting students while functioning as the Core Math and Science teacher for 60+ 4th graders.- Designing and presenting a common core curriculum in grades 3, 4, 5 and a combination class of 4 and 5. - Collaborating with the special education faculty in order to meet the needs of Autism Spectrum Disorder, deaf and hard of hearing and Counseling-Enriched Education Program students. - Using multiple forms of assessment in order to determine student needs and differentiate instruction. - Ensuring that the overall curriculum aligns with California’s adopted content standards and that the school reflects the diversity of the state’s student population.

- Developing and delivering career readiness curricula for juniors and seniors within technology academies. - Targeting the recruitment of students with an emphasis on students of color and young women. - Managing the workflow, budgets, payroll, the scheduling of student web design and database management projects for private companies and partner public agencies. - Planning and facilitating career events such as company visits, speaker panels and guest speakers. - Writing press releases, marketing collateral, outreach literature and standard operating procedures for a start-up tech non-profit.
