• For a national Canadian trade association and its members, managed federal and provincial regulatory and environmental issues, and partnered with a second trade association to respond to Ontario toxics reduction developments • Wrote the Green Hospital Champion Fund proposal for the Ontario Hospital Association, approved by the Ministry of Finance, to support a three year waste and energy reduction program across Ontario's hospital network• Advised a provincial government committee in eastern Canada, on issues and solutions to help shape hazardous waste diversion programs in that province

• Led 15 person North American team that managed chemicals issues including under the Canadian Environmental Protection Act• With the Global Sustainability organization, developed the Company’s new global Product Safety website• Managed the first North American regulated take back program for used household batteries under Ontario’s regulation • Brought many diverse Canadian stakeholders together in successful “Concentrate on the Future” social marketing consortium supporting energy, water and packaging savings of new NA concentrated products• Enabled reapplication of global wildlife cause marketing program for major detergent brand in Canada by securing the respect and three years support from a new Canadian wildlife partner

• Led award-winning “Switch to Cold” stakeholder program that supported the coldwater laundry innovation, by securing energy efficiency advocates, utilities and expert partners across Canada • Founded a coalition of 15 industry groups and made recommendations to government to streamline regulatory requirements for cosmetic, pharmaceutical and other products that were suddenly subject to new environmental requirements• Managed full range of pre- and post-market regulatory matters such as pre-market approval, product compliance, chemical ingredient, performance claim, environmental claim, labelling, recalls and other issues for major divisions of the company including the food, personal care and household product businesses• Served on advisory committees for a national environmental NGO organization, as they developed several different credible publications on environmental safety topics
