As a visual artist, she uses materials as metaphors to explore perception, communication, and alterity, creating multi-sensory environments that tell stories of social and personal identities.As a design and product development specialist in textiles, fashion, and the built environment, she develops and creates products for global apparel and soft furnishings brands, as well as international textile mills. Her expertise encompasses the entire supply chain, from fiber to finished products to retail, including trend analysis and business strategy, sourcing, and merchandising, leading the execution of all projects from concept through completion. As a social scientist, she examines age, the renaissance of experience, and creative collaboration between multiple generations. She focuses on the sociocultural and socioeconomic aspects of the New York fashion and textile industry and the complexity of working and ageing in its youth-centric, visual culture.
