    In this role I am responsible for preparing an annual content calendar for all online digital and social channels while ensuring this is shared with partners to fully develop reach and influence. This is part of initiating, developing and maintaining key tourism business partnerships to support the international travel trade marketing strategy. I have also planned and organised Familiarisation Trips in conjunction with tour operators, the media, airlines, national tourist boards and various partners. This has involved collaborating with key tourism organisations including VisitBritain, VisitScotland and UKinbound and various on territory PR agencies to fully develop joint destination marketing. Devising and maintaining a dedicated travel trade website to fully showcase all destinations activities. Managing the travel trade marketing budget and constantly seeking new ways to deliver efficiencies while maintaining the impact and effectiveness of marketing activities. I work with UKinbound and the marketing team to ensure a successful convention including maximising opportunities to profile Glasgow, promote members and their visitor experiences. This involves identifying businesses with potential new and unique visitor experiences to bring to market as part of marketing and tourism strategy.
