Profile bio

About Anne Morrison

Currently, I am the Principal of 2 businesses. In 2021, I founded Present Patterns Studio, a company that creates illuminating reports, dashboards, and analytics for non-profits and their partners. Additionally, my consulting service, begun in 2019, transforms my client's current, high-level trend reports into a comprehensive reporting suite that reveals underlying drivers of fundraising efforts and unveils strategies to drive revenue. Once developed, their new reports align with goals, are understandable to all audiences, highlight the most important metrics (and trends where applicable), and help fundraisers to generate ideas that spearhead tactics and strategy.Superior analytic reports can shine a light on how donors are giving to different funding areas, how they are migrating through their donor journey, when they upgrade and when they downgrade or lapse. Through graphic visualizations, fundraisers see the stories of their giving trends across donor segments, volunteers, advocates, and other constituents. Analytic reports that are tied to goals visually reveal trends and are understandable. They increase fundraisers' productivity, giving them information to make decisions that drive results to meet or exceed revenue goals. In my consulting work, I often "translate" between IT or database teams and fundraising teams to bridge a communication gap and to create the specifications for report programmers.Previously, I spent 16 years building and leading the consulting team for the Target Analytics donorCentrics™ product line. In this multi-faceted role, I contributed to the evolution of benchmarking, analytic reports to serve sector-specific requirements and address the industry’s wide array of fundraising strategies including crowdfunding, alumni giving, membership, sustainer, mid-level, and multi-channel. I managed the consulting services for the 1st global, collaborative peer benchmarking solution for 14 Global INGOs (UNICEF, Save the Children, UNHCR, Greenpeace, WWF, Amnesty International, and others). Over the last 20 years, I had the pleasure of analyzing the fundraising trends for hundreds of non-profits and designed numerous results reports for the sector. I’ve presented to organizations, in nearly every sector, to conference attendees, to development committees of global organizations, and to individual clients in the United States and Europe. Specializations: Analysis, Report Design and Development, Tableau, Power BI, Database Reporting Strategy, Salesforce, Data Visualization

Listed skills include Analytics, Direct Marketing, Marketing, Marketing Strategy, and 18 others.
