A communicator by profession, I have worked in the humanitarian world for six years with the United Nations World Food Programme. My experience ranges from working at the headquarters in Rome Italy, at an emergency operation in Islamabad, Pakistan and in Kigali, Rwanda. I am both a visionary and an implementer who is able to bring other people’s vision to life. I have a range of ‘soft skills’ due to my constant exposure to the diplomatic community, government officials, colleagues and the different communities I serve. Additionally, I have project management skills, I took a four year sabbatical where I pursued a Masters in Digital Documentary in the United Kingdom and volunteered as a children and youth worker. This gave me the opportunity to develop my skills as a documentary film maker as well as give back to the community through teaching life skills. I am currently enrolled for my Masters in Business Administration in Strathmore Business School, Nairobi, Kenya. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and a Masters in Digital Documentary.
