I am a strategy-and numbers-oriented developer with a passion for promoting the societal impact of research and advancing well-being, particularly for those in less privileged positions. My passion is particularly focused on issues related to children and young people, as well as the development of a humane working life.From 2017 to 2024 I led the preparations for the Helsinki Brain & Mind collaboration network, which includes the University of Helsinki, Aalto University and Helsinki University Hospital. Prior to that, I led an exploratory project (Neuroresearch Finland) contributing to the establishment of Neurocenter Finland as a part of the government health sector growth strategy. Having worked in NGO, public and industrial sectors, I bring extensive experience in leadership, research, business and project management. My diverse skill set includes a strong background in administration, sales, business development, innovation management, networking and influencing. I have successfully led teams and projects involving multiple stakeholders from third and public sectors and various industrial fields. My published articles and reports cover topics e.g. from the life sciences field, (radical) innovation management, life science innovation ecosystems, and co-creation with customers. As an individual, I am visionary and full of ideas, I am known for my loyalty, flexibility, systematic approach, analytical skills, commitment, and results-oriented mindset, complemented by strong teamworking skills. My focus extends beyond process and activity development to continuous professional growth. While my doctoral degree is in biosciences, I have also pursued studies in administration, business, IT, IPR and management.
