Mooie Boules is een plek waar vrienden, familie en collega’s kunnen eten, drinken, dansen en jeu de boulen. Bij Mooie Boules in Rotterdam wanen gasten zich op een overdekt Frans dorpsplein gesierd door grindbanen, een houten tribune én kleine huiskamers met eigen biertap. Hier zijn culinaire versnaperingen van Ron Blaauw en horecaondernemer Ron de Jong te krijgen. Ook local heroes Kaapse Brouwers en Man met Bril zijn vertegenwoordigd. Volgens de jury is het echt een nieuw concept, rondom hun eigen idee: 'Doe Horeca'. En zij benoemden ook de het slimme concept: veel voorspelbare gasten: banen zijn vooraf gehuurd dus aantal bezoekers is vooraf in te schatten. Daarop wordt marketing ingezet als nodig. Ook is het opgbouwd op 'branded' afdelingen, zoals een Jaegermeister Karaoke bar. Ron Blaauw wordt ingezet als vaste waarde maar daarbij krijgen ook lokale ondernemers een podium.
