I grew up in the North Hills of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania—often referred to as the "Paris of Appalachia." I later attended American University, where I majored in C.L.E.G., an interdisciplinary program focused on Communications, Legal Institutions, Economics, and Government.During my time in Washington, D.C., I interned at American Forests, the oldest national nonprofit conservation organization in the U.S. This experience provided me with valuable insights into tracking and analyzing conservation policy. The following semester, I interned with the environmental staff of U.S. Senator Bob Casey, which solidified my aspiration to pursue a career in environmental policy. After graduation, I returned to Pittsburgh to work for PennFuture, a statewide environmental nonprofit. I began as the Western Pennsylvania Outreach Coordinator and quickly advanced to Senior Campaign Manager. I am now a member of the Senior Staff, serving as Campaigns Director. My passion for environmental policy is driven by a deep concern for the future of our planet. I believe that proactive and strategic policies are crucial for mitigating climate change and promoting sustainable practices. In my spare time, I enjoy quilting, reading, biking, hiking, attending ballet classes, and, humorously, losing every game in my bowling league.
