Ann embarked on her mission to promote social justice initiatives, focusing on sustainability, climate change, and resilience. With over twenty-five years of experience in various fields, she has made significant contributions aligned with this mission. Ann has created, connected, convened, and curated hundreds of initiatives, programs, and policies that have resulted in positive change. In her leadership roles, she emphasizes building connections, coalitions, and relationships grounded in the values of diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice.In her most recent position as a Senior Consultant at Public Sector Consultants, Ann has demonstrated her expertise in leading organizational and community change. Her extensive knowledge spans multiple sectors, including manufacturing, administration, non-profits, higher education, community-based organizations, and municipal/government entities.Ann has experience in organizational development, strategic planning, environmental justice, sustainability, and climate action planning. She has held key roles, such as Director of Campus Sustainability and Chief Sustainability Officer at Michigan State University, where she focused on integrating sustainability and climate resilience into organizational infrastructure systems.Previously, Ann was the Director of Community Energy Programs for the West Michigan Environmental Action Council. She holds a degree in sustainable business and environmental science, along with a Master of Management (MM) in organizational development from Aquinas College. During her studies, she explored the intersections of organizational development and sustainability, mapping the networks and structures that facilitate the effective implementation of sustainability strategies. Additionally, Ann has an advanced study certificate in Design and Innovation Management from Ferris State University and has studied sustainability and climate change leadership at Harvard University.
