Current-Provide marketing, communications, public relations, and advertising support-Help maintain organizational brand standards across marketing platforms-Update and edit museum website-Create content for the museum’s social media platforms-Help gather content for print newsletter-Create and manage email newsletters-Assist in analyzing email campaign effectiveness-Write and edit press releases, web copy, fact sheets, content, etc., for RAM/The Cheech collateral with Spanish translation-Assist with promotion of all museum public events and with day-of event support, as needed-Create/design marketing collateral-Work with printers to order signage/collateral-Maintain inventory of printed collateral items-Provide radical hospitality by engaging diligently and proactively with social media followers, including serving customer service needs-Monitor social media metrics and analyze performance of published content-Experiment with new platforms as opportunities emerge and stay current with social media trends-Assist in photography and videography shoots as needed.-Oversee the development of all the museum’s print communications; this includes setting up project schedules, coordinating with designers, printers, and mailing/production services to ensure timely, high-quality delivery-Draft and/or edit marketing copy for museum programs including exhibitions, fundraising, and exhibition programs-Coordinate with other museum departments to ensure marketing and communications needs are being met-Oversee social media platforms and strategy-Oversee and maintain the museum website-Oversee overall quality (graphic design, branding, and grammatical accuracy) of all public-facing communications (labels, brochures, letters, etc.)-Maintain organizational brand standards-Communicate with advertisers on ad placement
