Ann is currently leading innovative work supporting a digital redesign of the member experience in the ambulatory clinic setting. Her team is integrating various new technologies to make the member experience simpler and more streamlined, and to help caregivers be more effective in their work. Much of Ann's success is due to her integrity, and her concern about everyone involved: members, caregivers, and the business and IT teams that work with her. Her long experience working within a large bureaucracy has led her to a realistic understanding that it is easy to hear "no", and difficult to get to a definitive "yes", so she proceeds "as if" -- trusting that doing the right things for the right reasons will generally work out for the best, and will at least lead to approval after the fact. People respond to Ann's integrity, intelligence, and warmth, and do their best to live up to her expectations -- that's leadership. I have worked with many people over a long career, on both the business and IT sides, and there is no one I would recommend more highly."
