A self-taught designer since 1999 and art school graduate who later specialised in Information Design (data visualisation) while doing a Bachelor’s Degree at the University of the Arts London). On top of immersing myself in the principles of data viz and Design Thinking, I also acquired diplomas in print management (plate making, lithographic printing, digital print and industrial print finishing processes). After graduating from London University of Arts in 2007 with First Class honours, I joined Alex Chilton Design, where I'm ’still’ a senior graphic designer - but the title doesn’t really cover all the work I do! I have enjoyed the challenges and benefits from working in a growing agency, and working with wonderful people for over a decade. I’ve been instrumental in driving the company to a new direction, and nurturing new talent within the company to grow their confidence and vision. Working at ACD requires skills in printing, branding, packaging, advertising, copywriting, proofreading – even accounting – and not to forget public relations. We’re all really obsessed with great - and sometimes over-the-top amazing - customer service. Ask any of our clients...! I recently joined the Interaction Design Foundation as a humble student, where I have acquired certificates ( but most importantly, tangible experience and a proper problem-solving mindset) in the constantly changing and innovative UX/UI and design thinking methods. Growing skillset: Photoshop (retouching), Illustrator (vector graphics), QuarkXpress and InDesign (layout, publishing), Sketch (prototypes, UX/UI), advanced templates in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Canva and Figma, websites in WordPress, Wix and SquareSpace, animation and video/audio design in Adobe Animate, After Effects, Audition, Premiere, iMovie (showreels), Ableton Live (sound editing and DJ mixes) ...
Listed skills include Indesign, Graphic Design, Illustrator, Logo Design, and 21 others.
