As a child, I vividly recall the excitement of trips to the supermarket. Not because I harboured militia-like plans of executing precision-tantrums to obtain various confectionaries – oh no – you see, my treat of choice was books. At a young age, I loved reading and my mother would purchase a Berenstain Bears book at every trip to the supermarket adding fuel to my passion. This segued into writing where I would spend hours journaling and even won an award for a short-story I wrote at the age of eleven. I was the game-maker of choice in our house creating ever-complex and fantabulous imaginary games. As a young adult, it wasn’t long before my presentation skills had me winning a handful of local beauty pageants showcasing my talent for poetry-recital.My child-hood passions have since metamorphosed into my bread and butter. These days, I capitalise on:- My love of reading and writing by creating interesting and practical training interventions in areas such as training of trainers, communication skills, presentation skills, customer care, etc.- My imaginary-game-creation by developing and executing exciting and purposeful team building interventions.- My presentation skills by establishing an immediate connection with my audience in order to deliver interactive and practical sessions.Let's talk reading, presenting, and all spaces between.
