EXO Insights currently has 11 employees and has graduated from the Accelerator Centre startup incubator program in Waterloo, Ontario, in October 2021. At EXO Insights, we work with immersive technologies, digital twins, wearable technology, and training applications aiming at human performance improvement.As the sole research scientist, my responsibilities include:• Conceptualizing, implementing, and evaluating new human performance indicators based on sensor data (eye-tracking, heart rate, breathing) for high-risk industries (aviation, nuclear, defence) • Designing new features for evaluating and communicating human performance in the training platform• Implementing algorithms to clean, time-synchronize, and analyze datasets in Python (pandas & NumPy)• Programming a dashboard application for visualizing sensor data in Python (Tkinter package)• Using computer vision algorithms (YoloV7) for automatic object detection in eye-tracking videos• Meeting with clients to understand their needs and how they can be addressed by the training platform
