I’ve always been very ambitious in my search for challenging assignments in the field of health promotion research. Since 2019, I worked as a PhD Fellow, which strengthened my skills within project management and development- and evaluation of complex interventions. I have been part of dedicated, multi-disciplinary research group collaborating to run a large randomized controlled trial, the Face-it study, where I acted as the intervention coordinator. The four papers of my PhD thesis concerned a systematic review and embarked on co-creation and investigations of context and mechanisms in the Face-it intervention. As a researcher, I intend to bridge the gap between research and practice by attending national and international conferences and creatively disseminating knowledge to relevant stakeholders. My core drive is to better the lives of socially disadvantaged populations. I believe that developing, evaluating and scaling context-specific complex interventions and translating theories into practice means true impact – not from researcher to researcher but directly for (and with) individuals, families, communities and policy makers.
