Though I wear many hats, I love my job! I am a freelance writer, and primarily write for local and regional publications covering stories from lifestyle to food to human-interest to health and business marketing pieces. Always a fan of food, I am editor of Lowcountry Cuisine magazine. I also provide boutique marketing services for a handful of local small businesses. I perform best under pressure, never miss a deadline, and enjoy a challenge. After spending 10 years as a marketing professional - the last five of them as Director of Marketing - I have developed a love of all things of that nature like social media, graphic design, web updating and e-mail marketing campaigns. Technology changes fast, and luckily I love to learn new programs.Community service is of great importance to me, and I am proud to have spent several years as part of non-profits and using my marketing and writing talents to their benefit. I spent seven years in Rotary, and am honored that my work in public relations, graphic design and e-newsletters earned me the "Rotary International Service Above Self" award in 2016. I now serve as Executive Secretary for the club.
