During my field research in Ghana I was looking at how the corporate sustainability strategies of two cocoa companies are implemented on the ground. I visited and interviewed cocoa farmers, interviewed with company officials and observed their interaction with the farmers, and had discussions with experts in the field.The field research in Ghana was part of my Master thesis, which addresses the question of how cocoa companies in Ghana contribute to achieving sustainable development in general and the implementation of the SDG's (Sustainable Development Goals) more specifically.

Tasks at the Embassy of Switzerland in Bangladesh included:- wide thematical insight into a fully integrated Embassy in a dynamic country (including field visits)- active collaboration (research, reporting) in the fields of politics, economy, human rights, development and culture- independent planning and implementation of cultural project- supporting intra-team collaboration, taking minutes and organizing events
