Responsibilities at One Detroit CU included oversight of its Human Resource functional activities, including employee engagement, strategic planning, learning and development and the member experience. In addition, overall responsibility for it's call center and multiple branch operations. As part of the Executive team, the goal was to promote the credit union's culture, philosophy, values and standards, ensuring quality and teamwork. To provide leadership to initiate change, influence others, build teams and represent the organizations values and goals while maximizing profits.

The position directs and coordinates organization activities related to Human Resource functions. Responsibilities include, employment, compensation, benefits, organizational development, employee relations, performance management, training, recruitment, and quality. Establishes and implements programs and policies designed to protect company and employee interests in accordance with company policies and governmental laws and regulations.
