Hello, my name is Annette. I support children, young people and their families through challenging life experiences. Play Therapy and Expressive Therapies are innovative tools that I have used in the last 20 years. These modalities enable me to facilitate children’s and young people’s inner healing.Until June 2014 I worked at Newpin, in a long term therapeutic program for mothers and their young children(0-5) based on attachment theory. the program aims to support healthy relationships and facilitating parents in making lasting change in their often generational patterns of destructive life patterns. I also worked in child protection, supporting families in their home through counselling, play activities and practical skills. Currently I provide therapy to children of separated families using play,creative and expressive therapies. I also provide culturally informed play therapy and creative interventions for indigenous children and their families in 2 primary schools in Western Sydney.
