Provide support to East Cowes Marina during the busy summer months. Proactively facilitating the efficient and safe running of the marina and ensuring the efficient operation of berthing for visitors and residents. This includes responsibility for assisting Customers with all aspects of their berthing experience and keeping site and facilities clean, tidy, and well maintained. I am also required to play a vital role in maintaining safety standards, providing support to boat owners, and contributing to the overall success of the marina.

Motor Yacht Larissa is a 40metre Mediterranean based superyacht used privately only. The yacht was based in Beirut, Lebanon for 4 months during the 2013 season before returning to Imperia, Italy. My role was to implement an efficient rota for the crew to ensure the interior of the yacht was maintained to a high standard at all times as we were required to be on standby 6 days a week. We were given 2 hours notice of any owner visits/trips. It was essential for me to keep crew morale high and the team working efficiently during long periods of time on standby.

Motor Yacht Alibi is a 51metre Mediterranean based superyacht used both privately and commercially. My role required me to manage extremely demanding high profile guests and manage a culturally diverse team. I implemented a suitable rota for the team that dramatically improved client service and efficiency.

Sailing Yacht Halcyon is a 29metre classic yacht used both privately and commercially. I joined the yacht half way through it’s £1m restoration to provision below decks and run the hospitality side of the charter cruises which were around 5000 miles each around the coast of the UK, Ireland and Norway. I was responsible for hiring the seasonal chef and was the first point of contact with clients. During the winter months I worked as manager of marketing and hospitality. In this role I was proactive in handling customer enquiries by phone or email and initiated our presence at suitable boat shows to market the yacht.

Responsible for managing the UKSA’s internal recruitment service for all the academy’s students to the Yachting and Watersports industry. I instigated some major improvements into the department including the development and implementation of an online crew registration website which received over 5000 ‘hits’ within the first 6 months of operation. I built a worldwide customer database which enhanced the reputation of the organization within the yachting and watersports fraternity. I also provided input for royal visits, sponsor and corporate events at the academy, liaising with connected sponsors, guests and media/press.

I managed and delivered several intensive Crew Training courses, which involved 20 staff and a fleet of 12 boats. I implemented a system to ensure all courses were run within a pre-set budget and were suitably staffed.
