• Responsible for independent privacy incident triage, investigation, and risk assessment and analysis. This includes fact finding, written and verbal communication with agency programs for clarification of details, collaboration with involved parties, and detailed documentation of investigative process as well as a summary report for ISPO and agency programs. This includes breach notification to affected individuals as required and the appropriate regulatory agencies as needed.• Requires ability to understand, explain, research and apply agency policies, state statutes, and federal regulations to privacy investigations and inquiries• Independent judgment and/or team collaboration to determine appropriate referrals to other departments or government entities (i.e., Human Resources, Governor’s Advocacy Office) when appropriate• Perform the internal investigation for the federal government Office of Civil Rights (OCR) investigations and prepare responsive documents for the Privacy Compliance Officer PCO when appropriate• Explain privacy related services, rules, policies and processes to clients and agency staff• Support awareness and education through presentations at new employee orientation, meetings, program huddles, and leadership groups explaining privacy and security concepts, statutes, and policies with the ability to adapting to each presentation to the audience• Assist Privacy Compliance Officer with Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) process development and implementation
