Our mssion is to assist and raise funds to pay for education, provide food ,shelter, provide for medical needs, encourage and restore African and other children to their true potential who have been left abandoned or neglected as a resuit of poverty, disease such as HIV/AIDS or other adversity.We are committed to creating a healthy, faithbased, economically productive environment a society wwhere all Ophans and other vulnerable children can thrive and grow their full potential.Eric is 7 years old, who was shot in the head and leg by rebels while his mother held him at 6 month old. He was the only survivor. We got him at 9 months and immediately had the bullet removed from his head. His leg had to amputated. He suffers from severe headaches and memoryloss. We are trying to raise money to get him here in U.S.A. Minnesota , for medical treatment and to buy him a prostthetic leg.My name is Annette Mire and I grew up in Africa and now I live in Minnesota . Our Orphanage began in Dec,2005 when we stepped out in in fait and took 3 kids from the streets and found a house for them . The Hope of Children , Inc. was established and registered in Minnesota in February of 2008. Today our orphanage has 28 plus children and 4 adults. caregives. The Hope of Children Organization is a 501 c-3 Tax-exemption , not-for-profit organization with a meandate to initiate and sponsor charitable, religious and education activity.
