I am currently the Warehouse Manager with SIM Supply's Marquette, MI. warehouse. SIM Supply is an industrial warehouse that can service any need from cleaning supplies to safety needs and everything in between. I service Cliffs Natural Resources Michigan locations, including Tilden and Empire Mines as well as LS&I RR and also Lundin Mine. The mines are not SIM's only clients, but like many businesses in Marquette County they continue to be a major part of what we do. Responsibilities include but is not limited to; orders, delivery, receiving, inventory, time management, multi-tasking and correspondence. SIM Supply is also a e-commerce supplier which is a fast growing part of our business.

I started with Cliffs in 2001 as a temporary employee at their Research Lab located in Ishpeming, MI. as a Administrative assistant. While there I was able to secure a position in the pyrometallurgical lab and worked my way to supervisor. I was also able to get involved with the Safety aspect of mining and joined the Safety Department. I secured a permanent position with Cliffs in 2004 and transferred to the Tilden mine as a Safety Representative, a position that I held until 2013. While in that position, I worked with MSHA, created and produced Safety Videos, reviewed and edited SOPs, wrote and edited a monthly news letter, reviewed and updated Emergency contacts and procedures. In 2013 I was transferred from the Safety Department to Reliability where I helped to create and implement a MEM (Mobile Equipment Monitoring) program for Cliffs pit equipment. At the beginning of 2015 I was then transferred to Warehouse Supervisor at Tilden Mine and in May of 2015 I was laid-off because of a Reduction In Force due to a downturn in the Mining Industry.
