I am passionate about art, heritage, architecture and culture, and have had the privilege of leveraging my interests in many ways throughout my career.I’m deeply interested in activating heritage assets, leveraging them to tell stories that are important to our community identity and finding ways to enable adaptive reuse and public engagement. I have had the privilege of providing leadership for a number of transformational civic capital projects including the Walsh Bay Arts Precinct, Arts Centre Melbourne’s Hamer Hall, Powerhouse Museums, The Gunnery, Connecticut Science Center and the Melbourne Park Tennis Centre.I enjoy leading people and providing supportive environments for people to thrive and achieve their goals. With a real focus on culture, I work to provide support and opportunities for the people in my care.I’ve held senior leadership positions in government, private sector and not-for-profit settings, including my current role as CEO of Create NSW and my previous leadership of the NSW Buildings & Places business in global design firm, AECOM.I have a varied visual art practice including painting, printmaking and sculpture and really enjoy renovation and restoration. Our recently restored Walter Burley Griffin designed Duncan House featured on ABC’s Restoration Australia in 2023.
