I was admitted to the 2019 Yale Online Physician Assistant Program to pursue a Masters in Medical Science to realize my dream of being a Physician Assistant (PA). I enjoy providing my services to the medically under-served, rural area where I live. My undergraduate studies consist of a Bachelors of Science degree in Psychology from Southern Oregon University, with a minor in Sociology. I have had extensive training in leadership development, creating and working within focus groups, organizational psychology, and crisis intervention strategies.I previously owned my business, Crescent Rivers Virtual Services, as a virtual consultant with over 12 years experience in administrative, creative and organizational tasks. After being accepted into the YPAO program, it was a difficult decision to dissolve a business that I built, but found it necessary in order to concentrate on becoming the best provider for my future patients. I greatly enjoyed assisting business owners in streamlining their processes, but my best work came in creative tasks such as graphic design, web design, and business branding. Now I get to be creative on my own time for fun, when I'm not serving the people of my hometown, with my NC Art Collective endeavor.
