My research project focuses on participation and vertical and horizontal collaborative practices and arenas. More specifically we turn the gaze to the Swedish agricultural sector and the challenge of how to bridge the gaps in knowledge and communication between research, agricultural extension/advisory services and local farmers. The project is funded by Vinnova.

My responsibilities included literature reviews, research design and planning, empirical data collection (qualitiative interviewing), analysis and dissemination. My responsibilities included literature reviews, research design and planning, empirical data collection (qualitiative interviewing), analysis and dissemination. The project was reported and published as a chapter in the book "Från government till governance" (Eds. Pierre & Sundström). As a project assistant I had numerous responsibilities, including project management, research dissemination, education and administration. I was, for example, responsible for the policy dialogue at the international Resilience 2008 conference, including planning of the event, selection of international panelists and speakers, preparing policy briefs, implementation and evaluation. Assigned by Ramböll I was also responsible for a capacity building and international training programme on "Education for Sustainable Development" (part of the so-called MESA-initiative, mainstreaming Environmental Sustainability into African Universities). Participants came from 19 different African countries and included researchers, university administrators and policy makers.
