I organize artist residencies and summer art workshops, and I develop art educational curriculum for adults. I'm specialized in helping beginning artists start their art-making process, and helping established artists find new inspiration. I'm fascinated by awakening the artistic potential in people, and help them to discover their artistic voice.The IRIS ART CENTRE took its name from the ancient goddess Iris. In Greek mythology, Iris is the personification of the rainbow and messenger of the gods. Iris links the gods to humanity. She travels with the speed of wind from one end of the world to the other, and into the depths of the sea and the underworld. As a goddess, Iris is associated with communication, messages, the rainbow and new endeavors. Iris personifies the free movement and exchange of thought, bearing the gift of divine inspiration, which strikes suddenly like the startling appearance of a rainbow in the sky. Teaching art workshops for adults in English and Greek: History of Collage, Contemporary Collage Artists, Collage and Mixed Media, Paper Art, Transformative Art, World Art, Becoming an Artist, Intermedia, Photomontage. Group lessons and Private Tuition in artistic development. Emphasis on visual education of students. Development of creativity and self-confidence in creative expression.

I create photo-montages. My inspiration comes from my passion for theatre and the human soul. I use photo-montage to stage unresolved narratives of fear and alienation, irresolute desire, and subtle tension between people.

I taught ceramic handbuilding (busts, mythological figures, tile-mosaics, abstract compositions inspired by Kandinsky, masks, animals etc.) to students of the Upper School, and occasionally did projects with Lower School students.
