This job requires a lot of meticulous and time consuming activities. Our camp is a not for profit organization that provides support, education, advocacy, community experience and outdoor recreational experiences that will foster socialization, independence and a better quality of life for persons with Developmental Disabilities and their families. As a camp counselor, I am responsible for the health and well-being of 4 to 5 clients. My sole responsibility is to make sure each of my assigned clients get his/her medications, helping them with their activities of daily living (toileting, teeth brushing, shower, etc), and most importantly, making sure they have fun while at summer camp.

During this job I was required to perform many tasks. As a waitress and a cook, I learned many skills such as being able to manage multiple tasks at once and customer service.
