I am a Biomedical Scientist and recently obtained my Master (Biology of Disease) at Utrecht University, The Netherlands. This master matches my passion for molecular mechanisms behind disease perfectly. My research interests are oncology, molecular biology and nanomedicines. I obtained a Bachelor degree in Biomedical Sciences at Maastricht University, The Netherlands. This bachelor’s program is completely focused on sickness and health. I studied biological processes at molecular and cellular level, organ level and the body as a whole.The motivation for my study originates from the interfaces with medicine and biology. As a biomedical scientist you use natural scientific knowledge to gain insight into the functioning of the healthy and diseased person. What interest me is to investigate problems that exist and arise in this functioning and to find answers by thinking critically. Additionally, I am interested in the way scientific knowledge is acquired and evolves.
