Anne Tuohy, originally trained as a nurse, but while on a career break to raise her boys, she began to indulge her passion for Interior Design, and the restoration of Antique Furniture. After graduating in Interior Design from The Regent Academy of Fine Arts in London, she found herself being asked to carry out design makeovers for family and friends, which were very successfulHer eureka moment occurred when she performed a complete refurbishment and redesign of the family home in Dublin, which was carried out on a very modest budget. A career of "serial renovator" followed, during which she created many fabulous homes throughout the North West of Ireland, and in Dublin.Anne qualified with a coveted Diploma in Interior Design, with Distinction, from Limperts Academy of Design in Dublin in 2004. She also took part in RTE television’s Showhouse challenge, creating the winning Showhouse for Shane Filan of Westlife.AnneTuohy's design perspective has always come from the belief that great design does not have to cost lots of money.
