PND Engineers, Inc., (PND) is a consulting engineering firm that was founded in 1979. The firm has offices located in Anchorage, Juneau, and Palmer, Alaska; Seattle, Washington; Portland, Oregon; Houston, Texas; and Vancouver, BC. PND's experience is founded in the remote and Arctic regions of Alaska where we have thrived by providing innovative solutions to our clients. We offer a broad range of civil engineering services, from building structural design to coastal engineering. Our clients are diverse and range from Fortune 500 corporations to small ports and cities served in Alaska, as well as nationally and internationally. As HR Manager, I am responsible for recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, employee relations, EEO/Affirmative Action administration, HRIS, and health and safety. I facilitate professional development and continuing education activities, professional licensing and credentialing, and corporate communications.

Served as Director of Administrative Services (2001 – 2005), reporting to the CEO and Board of Directors for what was the nation's fastest-growing Boys & Girls Club Organization. Promoted in 2005 to HR Director and then to V.P. Human Resources in 2006 in conjunction with the agency's newly adopted strategic plan. The organization operated 45 clubhouses statewide, Alaska's largest licensed daycare center, and youth recreational sports programs. It employed 180-220 personnel and several hundred volunteers annually, and partnered with multiple non-profit organizations, local government and tribal entities throughout Alaska. Oversaw a staff of four responsible for training and development, workforce planning, recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, volunteer screening, safety and risk management.

Managed day-to-day operations: staffing, sales, customer relations, financial accounting, and production scheduling. Expanded services to include résumé writing and career coaching for individuals in a wide range of professions and career levels . Developed strong reputation and referral business throughout Alaska and the United States.
