I am an educator with over 15 years of experience in the middle school classroom. I am a Teacher of the Year and District Honor Teacher (2020-2021). I will be graduating with a Masters in Library and Information Science from the University of South Carolina in December 2022. I have embraced the use of technology within my classroom and have experience coaching and teaching other educators about best practices and implementation of technology. I have focused my attentions on personalized learning and gamification. I enjoy collaborating with anyone who considers themselves an innovator. I have had the honor of working in three of South Carolina's top school districts. I believe in equal access and equal opportunity through public education.
