I consider myself a researcher by training, an activist in progress. I aim to use law and research as tools to create a more equitable and just world where universal human rights are not only an ideal but a reality. I believe change does not only happen from the top down but also bottom up. Hence, activism is the key driver of my work. My research interests are the right to development, human rights decolonization, Third World Approach to International Law (TWAIL), civic space and human rights movements, and human rights in the intersection of culture. Additionally, I highly value an interdisciplinary approach to human rights, as reflected by my training in various research methods. I enjoy a work environment where everyone can contribute their unique strengths and expertise to collaborate towards a meaningful impact. I have over 3 years of experience in research, youth advocacy and project management on a wide range of human rights topics within both academia and civil society organizations in Indonesia and the Netherlands.Recently, I completed my Legal Research Master with a cum laude and I am starting my career as a junior researcher at Oxfam Novib in the Hague, the Netherlands. In my free time, I like learning languages (currently Dutch), travelling and going out with my friends.Happy to connect with you!
