My professional journey began with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry, sparking a profound interest in molecular biochemical concepts. During my undergraduate studies, I embarked on a significant research project “Beyond Repair: Functional Significance of RNA Editing and its Impact on Cellular Processes”. This project elucidates how RNA editing alters cellular functions, providing insights into its role in disease mechanisms and potential therapeutic applications.Beyond academia, I have accumulated extensive practical experience. I have been deeply involved in educating students on chemistry and Biology subjects and have participated in numerous laboratory initiatives, which have enhanced my expertise and practical skills. My tenure at Little Friends of Mary Secondary School was particularly impactful, where I left a lasting impression through my dedication to educational and laboratory excellence.Currently, I lead efforts in applying advanced molecular techniques as a “Research Assistant” at Niger Delta University. My role involves laboratory research activities such as nucleic acid extraction, PCR, gel electrophoresis, and gene sequencing. These methods are crucial in modern day research that would enable me to provide valuable insights that support effective disease control and prevention strategies.My unique strength lies in my technical proficiency combined with a strong commitment to teamwork and continuous improvement.
