Hi! My name is Annie Black, and I am a Senior Marketing Major at Miami University's Farmer School of Business. I take pride in my creativity, passion, and work ethic. I love traveling, meeting new people, and embracing opportunities to learn new things!My collegiate journey began with participation in the FYIC Client Challenge during my first year, where I worked on solving a real-world banking problem for KeyBank. This experience significantly sharpened my critical thinking and teamwork skills. I am also currently apart of Miami University's Women in Marketing Club. In addition, I have held meaningful roles such as serving on the executive council of Alpha Chi Omega and working as an Undergraduate Assistant for the Business Success Strategies class (BUS 106). These roles involved developing educational content, facilitating discussions, and coordinating events that fostered community engagement and learning. Most recently, I completed an internship with The Home Depot in Atlanta, Georgia, as part of the Human Resources Talent Acquisition – Talent Experience/Employment Marketing Team. In this role, I led stakeholder meetings, conducted research through surveys and focus groups, and presented findings to executive leadership, significantly impacting the candidate experience strategy.I have thoroughly enjoyed my experiences thus far and am eager to leverage my skills further through my coursework and upcoming professional opportunities. I look forward to continuing to develop my leadership abilities and expanding my marketing expertise in my future endeavors.
